Dolphin Shows in Panama City Beach

Do dolphin cruises feed the dolphins

We have been taking guests out on dolphin tours for many years, and we carefully adhere to all guidelines established for our guests’ safety and the dolphins’ well-being. In addition, our stable, comfortable tour boats are fully equipped with all US Coast Guard required safety equipment. Our Panama City Beach Dolphin tours are perfectly safe and a lot of fun for guests of all ages. We also do our best to accommodate guests with special access needs, so please let us know.

While you might have seen dolphins at sea in a marine reserve, it is still far more fun to observe these majestic animals in their natural environment. Our captains are experienced in the waterways of St. Andrew Bay and can predict wild dolphin behavior, but they cannot guarantee sightings. Our captains are familiar with the best places to find dolphins and will make sure that guests have a blast. On most tours, you will see dolphins playing, hunting for food, and communicating among themselves.

We’ll put you in the water before the dolphins arrive. That way, the dolphins are more likely to come to us rather than swim away. Unlike the larger tour boats that carry up to 150 people, Blue Dolphin Tours carries only 6 passengers (children included). We can have you in the water with your snorkel gear on quickly and without all the splashing and disruptions that large groups create, often frightening the dolphins away. We have 5 identical boats for larger groups, up to 30 persons limited to 6 per boat. We also have a new Large Family Blue Dolphin for up to 15 passengers. Sorry no pets allowed on boats.

Panama City Beach Sharks

Shell Island is home for a large population of bottlenose Dolphins. On one of our Panama City Beach Dolphin Tours, you can see these magnificent marine mammals in their natural habitat.

Florida law bans dolphins from being touched or fed. Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission officers monitor the waters to ensure that these rules and regulations are being followed. You might be able to spot dolphins close enough to the boat that you have a wonderful view and great photo opportunities. Shell Island Snorkel Tours may be the best option for you if wild dolphins are in the water. They often swim close to snorkelers.
